The Consulate General of Portugal in Toronto has the honour of advising that His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, Professor Anibal Cavaco Silva, will be in Toronto from February 27 through to March 1, 2014.
During his visit, His Excellency the President would like to invite the Portuguese Community for a reception and a concert with Antonio Zambujo and special guest Nelly Furtado, on February 28th, at 6 pm, at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre (189 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5B 1M4, 416 314 2901).
The Consulate General requests that all those interested in attending the event, kindly contact the former by telephone 416 217 0971, ext 232, or toronto@mne.pt, and indicate their full names, so that a personal invitation (valid for two persons) could be drawn up and made available for pick up between February 19 and February 28 at the Consulate General (438 University Avenue, suite 1400, Toronto).
Please be advised that there are no ticket sales for the event. Admission is exclusively by personal non-transmissible invitations, available for pick up at the Consulate General following their respective reservation.
