IOM Toronto Website

The IOM Toronto Website is fully launched and accessible at www.iomtoronto.ca. The website is available in both English and French.

While the main purpose of the website is to inform readers on the Canada Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration Pilot Programme, the website also provides other useful information that could be interesting for all. In fact, the website allows readers to get a concise but accurate understanding of IOM, its current activities across the globe  and its longstanding relationship with Canada.

The website is also rich in its Resources pool:

The section on Statistics provides a snapshot of the results of the programme with a breakdown of:

Number of migrants assisted each month
Gender distribution of migrants
Age distribution of migrants
Type of reintegration assistance availed by migrants
Top 10 countries of return

The Publications section includes downloadable resources specific to Canada AVRR pilot programme to inform migrants at all stages of the process:

Canada AVRR Info Leaflet (available in English, French, Spanish, Hungarian, Chinese and Russian);

Travel Guide for Returnees (available in English, French, Spanish, Hungarian, Chinese and Russian);

Reintegration Guide for Returnees (available in English, French, Spanish, Hungarian, Chinese and Russian).

To further build on the understanding of IOM’s assisted return and reintegration activities, an AVRR Fact Sheet has been included in the Publications section. The Fact Sheet provides additional information on IOM’s AVRR activities, type of IOM’s AVRR programmes and key policy considerations on AVRR. This publication is further complemented by the most recent Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration Annual Report of Activities demonstrating how IOM AVRR programmes are implemented across the world.

The Online Appointment Booking feature allows migrants to book online their appointments for an interview with IOM
